ProPILOT Assist 2.1

The most advanced version of INFINITI’s ProPILOT Assist technology, INFINITI's ProPILOT Assist 2.1 uses a combination of cameras, radar sensors, sonar technology and pre-loaded map data to automatically modulate the vehicle’s steering, throttle input, and braking.

Route Assist

After inputting the destination on the vehicle’s integrated navigation system, ProPILOT Assist 2.1 gives drivers a heads-up when their highway exit is coming up and when the lanes are clear to move over. Highway mapping and 360-degree traffic monitoring allow for smooth and accurate driving.

Lane Change Assist

Driver’s can enjoy smooth and controlled lane changes with ProPILOT Assist 2.1. Should the vehicle ahead be driving slower than the pre-set cruising speed, the Lane Change Assist function helps drivers overtake the vehicle with ease.

Hands-Off Driving

On compatible roadways, ProPILOT Assist 2.1 allows drivers to experience semi-autonomous driving behind the wheel of their INFINITI vehicle. Simply look for a blue interior light and an icon in the driver information display, two signifiers that ProPILOT Assist 2.1 is able to take over the vehicle’s steering, acceleration and braking. The system will then engage and allow drivers to enjoy a hands- and pedal-free driving experience, while actively monitoring that they are paying attention to the road ahead, should human intervention be required.
